My Philosophy: The Human Lens

I believe that great photography is about more than just an image; it is a record of human connection, light, and a specific moment in time. While I use modern technology to streamline my business, I am deeply committed to the "Real Moment." I use Artificial Intelligence as a tool to support my creative process, never to replace the authentic vision you hire me for.

My Three Pillars of Transparency

1. Portfolio Integrity (Human-Captured)

Every image in my professional galleries (Weddings, Portraits, and Commercial work) was captured by me using a physical camera.

  • My Guarantee: I do not use text-to-image generation for my core portfolio. When you hire me, you are getting my technical skill and an honest representation of your story.

  • Verification: Starting in 2026 I will utilize C2PA Content Credentials (invisible digital signatures) in my files to provide a verifiable trail proving that my photos originated from a camera, not a prompt.

 

A Verified History (2001–Present)

  • My photography journey spans over two decades of evolving technology. I take great pride in the legitimacy of my archives:

  • The Film Era (Pre-2005): A significant portion of my early gallery work consists of physical slides and negatives. These images are digital scans of analog originals—tangible moments captured on film that represent the foundation of my craft.

  • The Digital Archive (2005–2025): For over twenty years, I have maintained a verifiable digital library. Every image from this era is backed by original RAW files and extensive metadata that documents the precise date, time, and camera equipment used at the moment of capture.

 

Future-Proofing Trust: C2PA Standards

As we navigate the rise of synthetic media, I am committed to adopting the highest industry standards for image provenance.

  • Hardware Authentication: I shoot with the Nikon Z9 and Z6 III systems, both of which are designed to support the C2PA (Content Credentials) standard.

  • The 2026 Standard: I am currently in the process of implementing the Nikon Authenticity Service. As soon as Nikon's secure digital certificate system is fully active following its 2025/2026 security updates, every new image I capture will be cryptographically "signed" at the moment of capture.

  • Your Guarantee: This digital seal will prove that the image originated from my physical Nikon sensor and remains a verified record of reality, backed by 25 years of professional integrity.

2. Intentional Editing (AI-Assisted Retouching)

I use advanced AI-powered tools (like Adobe’s generative fill or specialized retouching software) to deliver a polished, high-end result efficiently. This includes:

  • Surgical Clean-up: Removing distracting elements like power lines or exit signs to keep the focus on the subject.

  • Technical Restoration: Enhancing clarity in low-light situations or upscaling images for large-scale printing.

  • Respect for the Subject: I do not use AI to fundamentally alter a person’s identity or natural features unless specifically requested for a stylized creative project.

3. Creative Branding & Educational Content

To stay consistent across my YouTube channel and social media, I occasionally use AI-generated assets for marketing.

  • B-Roll & Thumbnails: I may use tools like Loveart.ai to create cinematic backgrounds or conceptual diagrams for my tutorials.

  • Transparency: Any asset that is 100% synthetic (not based on a photo I personally took) will be clearly disclosed with an "AI-Generated" label or mentioned in the video description.
