ZGCDogs FAQ

What is the Wuff-mich-an dog photography service?

Wuff-mich-an photoshoots,  are on-request dog photography sessions, typically held at popular dog walking locations but possible at your choice of location (either indoors or outdoors).

Private (1:1) sessions can last up to 1 hour, most tend to last around 20 - 45 minutes. Dog event organizers can also make a Wuff-mich-an request for their event, where I can provide services up to a full day in length, for any interested event participants.

Private sessions are free of charge in canton ZH, 100 CHF elsewhere in CH. Any fixed costs for attendance at Dog events is handled case-by-case but typically  0 - 300 CHF.

Notice time can be as little as 20 minutes for the Küsnacht area, typically from 1 -2 hours for wider canton ZH and > 2 hours (more typically 1+ days) for outside canton ZH.

Sessions can be requested by phone or online request form.

After the session, clients have the option (no obligation) to buy photos as download packages, having reviewed the session photos in an online, private gallery.

What is the target customer base for the Wuff-mich-an photo service?

Wuff-mich-an sessions are aimed at anyone looking for professional quality photos of their dog, potentially at very short notice.

Wuff-mich-an sessions can also serve as opportunities for family photo shoots or for capturing moments with visiting friends and relatives (but your dog must be present in all photos!).

Example triggers for a Wuff-mich-an session request:

  • Your dog has just been groomed and looks at its best now.

  • The weather / conditions for a photo session on a walk are great today.

  • Firends / family are visiting.

  • You are taking part in (or organising) a dog event / course and would like to have a professional photographer available for capturing the action (either for you or other patricipants).

  • You are visiting the Zürich area and would like some dog photos taken by a local pro.

Are Wuff-mich-an sessions of interest to non-ZH residents?

Absolutely! If you’re visiting Zurich with your dog, you can request a Wuff-mich-an session to get professional photos taken during a quick walk, e.g. in the famous Küsnacht Tobel.

I also offer Wuff-mich-an private (1:1) sessions outside of Zürich, subject to a fixed 100 CHF session fee.

I can also attend larger dog events (e.g. mountain walks, training courses, dog shows, obedience classes, etc.) outside of ZH, for a fixed session fee of 0-300 CHF (handled case-by-case).

How much does it cost to take part in a Wuff-mich-an session?

Wuff-mich-an private (1:1) sessions in canton Zürich, lasting for up to 1 hour are free of charge. No fixed fee.

Private session shoots, up to 1 hour, outside of canton Zürich have a 100 CHF fixed session fee.

Sessions lasting > 1 hour anywhere in CH (e.g. attendance at a dog training course, or mountain walk) are subject to a TBD session attendance fee of up to 300 CHF.

Photos are optionally purchased as digital download packages (no obligation to buy).

How long is a Wuff-mich-an photo shoot?

Wuff-mich-an photo shoots typically last from 20 minutes up to 1 hour.

The length of the shoot may vary based on several factors, including the type or theme of the session, the mood and behavior of the dog, and any time constraints of the owner.

Longer durations can be requested but will be subject to a session fee (of up to 300 CHF).

What notice period is required for a Wuff-mich-an photo session?

I aim to make the Wuff-mich-an service as responsive as possible.

If I'm available when you contact me with a request, and the desired photo session location is close by (e.g. the Küsnacht / Zollikon area, for when I'm at home) - I can probably get there in 20-30 minutes. For wider canton Zürich, the minimum lead time is more typically 1-2 hours.

Phone is probably the best way to request a session at  very short notice.

For requests more than 1 day out, phone, email or online request form are all OK.

I will always confirm a request via phone message or email. Without a confirmation, the session is not in my calendar.

Can you take photos of me, my friends & family at a Wuff-mich-an photo session?

Yes, as long as you are accompanied by a dog!
